Sony's 3D Laptop, Electronics of the hereafter

At the recent Ifa electronics show, Sony showed us its prototypes of a to be launched Sony 3D laptop. It also has active-shutter glasses that come with it. What these glasses do is that they isolate the view of your left eye from that of your right eye. This results in an astounding pictorial experience.

Sony Bravia

These 3D laptops are ready to be launched in spring 2011. Using frame sequential technology, these laptops rapidly cycle the full screen view between left eye and the right eye. It has blank screens in between to reduce crosstalk and provide a much best image capability to the user. The laptop will show videos at a rate of 240 frames in a second which is important to catch up with a rate of 3D videos at 60 frames per second.

Along with the laptop, Sony also announced that it will add new firmware features to its existing blu-ray players and play middle point 3. They are doing this so that they can also add the 3D feature to these gadgets. Gaming would of course become a whole new caress if this plan is implemented. Games like Mortal Kombat, Sly Trilogy and Virtual Tennis four will see new fans once this technology arrives.

Some people love the huge screen caress while others prefer small screens that they can use by their bedside or keep in their palm. For the big-screen lovers, Sony has announced a 3D projector called the Wv-90. The new 3D projector employs the same technology as the Sony Bravia Tvs namely the active shutter system. This means that the required glasses will also work across the line. I can only dream what a great viewing caress that would be, Just can't wait for the embark on and get my hands on my own big screen.

Here comes the real big news! Sony is planning to embark on its own 3D Tv channel. This announcement came from Howard Stinger himself, the Sony chief executive. He said the content of the channel could consist of history, science, appeal pictures and children's programs. This could be a great embark on for Sony as it would introduce something new and rare from such companies.

For football fans, a great news is that Sony will be releasing the highlights of the World Cup 2010 in South Africa on blu-ray disk at the end of this year. So it's all fascinating stuff at Sony these days. The advent few months will be great to look out for at Sony! If you are a technology geek, then of course you will find it difficult to wait for all these launches. But be patient, patience has its rewards and that's what Sony wants you to do by announcing it so early.
